Diar Hosting SAL manages homes in Lebanon and receives guests in them. This page describes the personal information held when a visitor uses this site or makes a booking, the purposes for which it is held, the parties that may receive it, and the means by which it may be reviewed, corrected or removed.

On booking, the following is recorded: name, email address, telephone number where provided, the dates and the home, the number of guests, any requests submitted, and the payment reference once payment has been received. This information is used to reserve the dates, to correspond regarding the booking, to receive the guest on arrival and to respond to enquiries thereafter. Booking records are retained for the period required by the law governing commercial records, and no longer.

Bookings are recorded in Beds24, the reservation system through which the calendar is kept consistent across all channels; correspondence is delivered by Resend. Both act solely on Diar's instructions. The site is hosted by Vercel and its database by Supabase. Where a map is displayed, it is provided by Google Maps, which receives the request for the map and no further information about the visitor.

Subject to consent, Meta and Google may record that a page was viewed, dates were searched, the booking form was opened or a booking was made, in order that Diar may assess which pages and advertisements bring guests to the site and that advertisements shown elsewhere are more relevant. No name or address is transmitted in readable form; booking details are transmitted in the encoded form each service requires. Consent may be declined or withdrawn at any time below.

Two files are placed by the site itself in the visitor's browser: one recording the language chosen and the consent decision, and one recording, for thirty days, the link by which the visitor first arrived. Neither is shared with any third party.

Requests to review, correct or remove personal information should be addressed to the contact details given at the foot of every page and will be answered within a few days. Personal information is never sold or transferred to third parties for their own purposes, and any change to the practices described here will be published on this page.
